Every person who wears make up should read this!!
"This book is a Bible of everything and I learnt so much. Somethings I learnt I'd been to embarrassed to ask anyone about. It also gives you confidence to give things a try. This book should be bought as a gift for every curious teenager who goes on to wear make up. This isn't a guide its a Bible. It's never too late to learn."

My Story
My name is Heather Card
From a young age, I was captivated by the transformative power of makeup. This fascination led me to pursue a Foundation Degree in Makeup Artistry and Special Makeup Effects. My journey was marked by dedication and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Training with Airbase, I discovered a passion for airbrushing, a technique that became my specialty, loved by my clients for its flawless finish.

My career has taken me across the UK, particularly in Bristol and the South West, where I've worked with a diverse array of clients, companies, and photographers. My experiences range from creating striking window displays for hair salons to providing makeup services for bridal shoots, fashion projects, family portraits, and even training scenarios for hospitals and police cadets. Each project has been a unique adventure, an opportunity to push the boundaries of my creativity and skill.

However, it was teaching that brought a new dimension to my career. I completed my Level 4 & 5 Teaching Qualification within my first two years of teaching. Sharing my knowledge and watching others grow in their artistry has been incredibly fulfilling. It's a role that allows me to give back to the community, nurturing the next generation of makeup artists.
Perhaps the most rewarding part of my work is in the bridal industry. There's something exceptionally special about being a part of a bride's big day. Crafting a look that reflects her personality and complements her vision is more than just a job; it's an art form. Each wedding is a story, and being entrusted to add beauty to that story is an honor I never take for granted.
Through my experiences, I've learned that makeup is not just about appearance; it's a form of expression, a way to boost confidence and celebrate individuality. My journey has been more than a career; it's been a pathway to understanding the profound impact of this art on people's lives.
